Class Description:

Explore the evolution of Viking-era knotwork styles, compare and contrast with Celtic knotwork and learn about the symbolism behind these fascinating historical designs in a series of draw-along classes. Each session will offer a themed approach to the subject matter, review basic drawing principles and offer step-by-step instruction through experimental drawing exercises. Adaptable to most skill levels.

Materials:

Bring drawing utensils of your choosing, a variety of pencils, pens and colored drawing media would be great to have options. Paper will be provided, but if you like a particular sketchbook or paper quality, that might be nice to have.
