Red Hot Art Festival 2019

Stevens Square Community Organization is proud to present Red Hot Art Festival 2019, a diverse arts and performance festival celebrating the DIY heart and soul of Minneapolis culture! This free event will held at Stevens Square Park on Saturday July 13 (11am-6pm) and Sunday July 14 (11am – 5pm).

LIVE PERFORMERS The entire weekend event will have live performers, headlined by Gully Boys, named Minnesota’s Best New Band by City Pages Picked to Click 2018. Saturday, July 13: Indigenous peoples and land acknowledgment before the performances begin 11am: Shamble Town Rebels 12pm: Yevrah 1pm: Mother 2pm: Teighlor McGee 3pm: Hard Looks (fka Star Child) 4pm: Jada Brown 5pm: Gully Boys Sunday, July 14: 11am: Open Eye Figure Theatre’s Driveway Tour 12pm: Jarrelle Barton 1pm: Eric Carranza 2pm: Wax Lead 3pm: Freequeensee 4pm: Mayda (Official Fan Page) FOOD VENDORS Food will be available from: Keefer Court Bakery & Cafe, Asase Yaa Global Foods and Catering, and ice cream raising funds to support SSCO’s year-round efforts to support the neighborhood.

TOUCHABLE ART FAIR Thanks to a new partnership with Vision Loss Resources, Red Hot Art Festival will make itself the first “Touchable Art Fair,” providing specially trained sighted guides to welcome people who are blind or have low vision, and allowing visitors to physically touch some or all of an artists’ work.
